“If I could give 10 stars for Rachelle, I would. She did two back to back sits for our 10 year old standard poodle, and we were very impressed. She took excellent care of our pet, as well as our home. She kept us updated with photos and texts. I am very particular about our home, and she left it in perfect condition. It’s so nice to come home from a long trip and not have to do anything. There were a couple of issues with the house, and she handled them perfectly. She even made a very speedy trip back to airport, after dropping us off, to bring an iPad and jacket that we had left behind. Our poodle is really going to miss her. On the night we returned, she spent the night with Rachelle, NOT us! That speaks a thousand words! She dropped us off and picked us up at the airport, and made us a delicious dinner for our return. I would highly recommend Rachelle, and would not hesitate to have her back. She came to us a stranger, and left as a friend.”

“We could not have asked for a better sitter! Rachelle took care of our 2 dogs, 2 cats and chickens for almost a month and she was professional, capable and very caring. It was so easy to make arrangements with her and she very thoughtfully organised her travel to ensure she was available in case we experienced delays on our return. Rachelle had arranged to be accompanied by her mother, Rosemary, and they settled into the routine of taking care of our animals without any fuss. They kept us updated regularly (with some very funny stories and great photos) and even medicated our lab who acquired an ear infection just as we got ready to leave. Our priority was that our animals were cared for properly and we have no doubt that Rachelle did that – she even tamed our feral cat! The dogs were clearly relaxed and were fit and healthy when we returned. On top of that, the house was spotless, beds were made and food and other supplies restocked (which was unnecessary but very thoughtful!). I am very happy to recommend Rachelle (and Rosemary!) to anyone who wants peace of mind and reassurance that their animals and home will be in excellent hands.”

“It would be difficult to write a review that would do Rachelle justice. I have painfully stringent standards when selecting a sitter to stay in my home and care for what’s most important to me, so that finding the right person is a demoralizingly difficult task. But I knew from Rachelle’s first message that she had that extra something I was looking for, and she more than proved me right. Rachelle was an instant friend, and I felt completely at ease and unspeakably grateful to have her watching over my two special-needs cats during my month away. I was loathe to inundate her with the ridiculous routine I maintain on a daily basis to keep my boys in good health; as much as I take it for granted it appears absurd on paper. Nonetheless, she was entirely reassuring and more than rose to the occasion. She not only attended to all of the meals, medications and probiotics, but juggled the optional and alternating components with finesse, and augmented the regimen as she judged necessary: incorporating regular brushings to minimize hairball regurgitation, for example. She furthermore gave them sufficient attention that in record time they were warming up to her with an enthusiasm that is almost unheard of. The boys were both in excellent spirits upon my return, rather than giving me the customary cold shoulder, and she left our home in better condition than it was in when we left it. I count her among a very short list of persons I trust completely.”
